Dear Festival Friends, Supporters & Family,
We are thrilled to announce the launch the 2013 Festival revealing program highlights of this much-anticipated biennial event.

We take delight in inviting you to join us at the Castlemaine Town Hall, at 12noon on 12 December 2012 where Festival Director Martin Paten will present feature works of the 2013 Festival program.

This year we are launching many of the festival events prior to the end of the year with tickets available for sale IN CASTLEMAINE from the launch date 12 December. A Festival Pocket Program including key event and booking information will be available on the day. The full printed program (as in previous years) will be available from early next year and will include greater detail about our free and associated visual arts events.

This pre-Christmas and pre- New Year launch offers extra planning time for you, and the opportunity to book tickets for yourself and buy gift vouchers for friends.

VOLUNTEERS

Letters have been sent to all previous volunteers of the Festival, and in December we will be releasing our 2013 Festival Volunteer Program offering an exciting mix of roles and opportunities across, artistic, technical, marketing and hospitality event areas. It is both a unique and exceptional way to be part of the inner-workings of this major state event, enjoying the atmosphere and spirit of the festival, while also gaining skills to support your career aspirations.

SPECIAL ‘FRIENDS OF THE FESTIVAL’ FUNDRAISER EVENT

All welcome – even if you’re not an official ‘Friend of the Festival’ please come along – this lovely event is also a perfect opportunity to see what the Friends are all about, and maybe even join…

Be delighted by a ‘Gypsy Swing Trio’ as we share a Festival update and enjoy delicious finger food and sparkling wine in the beautiful gardens and orchard at ‘Hedgehogs’. Our hosts will be Margot and Morrie Rottem whose special garden is a feature of the 2012 ‘Gardens of the Heart’.
