Is Australia’s Climate Change Action Enough?

Keynote

Environmentalist Paul Hawken once said that we ought to forget trying to get things done through governments – the power is with the people. But is this possible? This session will begin with a performance by pro-activist, author and award-winning slam poet, Solli Raphael. The chair, author and award-winning journalist Margaret Simons, will guide the panel of economist and author Ross Garnaut, and local Dja Dja Wurrung Elder, Uncle Rick Nelson in a conversation around not just what our government should be committing to in terms of climate change outcomes but strategies and grass roots plans to enable all of us to make a difference.
