We encourage all our guests to stay safe and book tickets online. For all CSF events, a simple PDF document including your ticket/s and bar code/s will be sent to your email address. You can print this at home or just show our staff at each venue on your phone when you arrive. You can also choose to receive your ticket/s and bar code/s via SMS to your mobile phone.

Concession

Includes children, people 18 and under, Pension Card Holders, Health Care Card holders and Full-Time Students. Relevant identification must be presented upon request.

Seating

Events can be either General Reserve or Reserved Seating. Please check each event for the seating information.

Refunds

There are no refunds on ticket purchases with the exception of reasons related to changes in COVID-19 restrictions.

Latecomers

Will not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.

Gift Vouchers

Available for purchase and may be used for any Castlemaine State Festival event with ticket availability. 

Accessibility

Castlemaine State Festival aims to make venues and events accessible to those with limited mobility, hearing and/or vision. Wheelchair access is available at all Castlemaine State Festival Events.

Auslan interpreted events will be identified on individual program event pages.

Access Tickets & Companion Cards

The best way to book tickets if you have any access requirements or a Companion Card is to contact us directly so we can ensure you receive the best tickets for the access services required. Please call our box office during opening hours on  

Babes in Arms

For most events, children under 24 months old may attend free of charge on the condition they do not occupy a seat and they sit on the lap of a parent or guardian.

Doors Open

Doors open at festival events 30mins before the start time of events. Join us and visit our bar or browse the Bookstore.

Bar

With doors open 30 minutes before and after each session so you can grab a drink at our bar, stocking the best of local beverages from Shedshaker Brewing and Sutton Grange Winery.

Northern Books Booksellers

Northern Books will also be on-site with a range of titles available to purchase. The Bookstore will be open for 30 minutes before and after the event.
