CREATIVE LEARNING

AT GOODS SHED ARTS

Youth Creative Media Lab 2024-25

Are you aged 12-25, based in Central Victoria?
Want to explore creativity, culture and digital media?

Learn how to make videos, interview artists, create podcasts, compose original sound tracks and music, express your opinion about the arts in your region and beyond, explore creative responses to your world, whilst gaining hands-on experience with cameras, microphones, sound recording equipment and professional editing software. Programs will be led by The Goods Shed Arts team of media professionals including filmmakers, musicians and broadcasters.

The program kicks off in term 2 with a co-creation lab to devise our learning program to suit our unique requirements. We will collaborate with partner organisations such as The Arts Centre Melbourne, Bendigo Venues and Events, and Castlemaine Secondary College, providing opportunities for excursions to Melbourne and Bendigo over the course of the program.

Youth Creative Media Lab will culminate at the next Castlemaine State Festival in 2025, documenting and commenting on the events from the team’s unique perspective.

Register your interest by emailing Creative Learning Producer Kate Stones: kate@castlemainefestival.com.au by Friday 26 April 2024.

The Goods Shed is accessible venue, with an accessible bathroom. This program is open to everyone. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination.
