‘This piece was part of a body of work about spectatorship and what it means to be an onlooker . How do we act (or fail to act and become complacent) in times of crisis when we are part of a crowd? What does it mean to be a spectator in a personal and political context? This piece also explores the ways in which we can easily make judgments about people (and particularly women) in regards to motherhood and family.’
Rock A Bye Baby is currently on display at The Taproom, 5A/9 Walker St. Castlemaine.
