Eric Avery is a composer, violinist and dancer from the Ngiyampaa, Yuin, Gumbangirri and Bundjalung people of NSW. Accompanied by his father Graham on didgeridoo, Eric will perform his moving arrangements of ancient chants and songs of his people and country alongside his own original compositions. Limelight compared his original works to Michael Nyman’s compositions for filmmaker Peter Greenaway. Avery has performed at Bluesfest in Byron Bay and Night of the Tarantula in Amsterdam.
