Castlemaine State Festival presents
A Life of Ideas:
Clive Hamilton in conversation with Brian Walters SC
Clive Hamilton is an ideas man, making him the perfect Dialogues guest. The Professor of Public Ethics and progressive political theorist has authored books on climate change, China’s influence in Australia, the Chinese Communist Party, overconsumption and consumerism, and the Howard Government’s silencing of dissenters. In return, he’s been sued, surveilled, denounced and received death threats. His latest book, the memoir Provocateur, explains what drives him. Find out for yourself in this session with local author and human rights/environmental advocate Brian Walters SC.
