For eight nights only, the Castlemaine Goods Shed transforms into the Festival Club — the Festival’s after-dark heartbeat and a nightly home for dancing, discovery and connection.
From Saturday 21 to Saturday 28 March, the space becomes an ever-shifting sonic playground. One night you’re sinking into deep house, the next you’re swept up in Afrobeat, indie-pop, Latin grooves, goth-tinged electronica or late-night experimental sets. With a rotating lineup of MAINfm’s finest DJs, special guests, and a wildly eclectic music palette, no two nights sound the same. This is the place to gather post-show — to have a drink, meet new people, and ride the energy that carries the Festival long into the night. Come for the atmosphere, stay for the surprises, and savour a week where the soundtrack is as fearless as the crowd.
Ahead of the adult program, the Festival Club also opens its doors for two special early-evening sessions for younger audiences.
• Kids Club (ages 6–11): Thu 26 March, 5–7pm
• Youth Club (ages 12–17): Fri 27 March, 7–9pm
Both sessions feature selected local youth DJs and a safe, welcoming space for young people to explore music, movement and creativity before the Goods Shed transitions into its late-night mode. Whether you’re a local, a visitor, a dancer or a curious wanderer, Festival Club is where the pulse of the Festival gathers — a limited-season space to unwind, ignite, and celebrate everything that makes Castlemaine come alive after dark.
