PechaKucha is a global storytelling platform that connects people – their ideas and inspirations, creative thoughts and processes. Created in Japan in 2003 by renowned architects, Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham, PechaKucha has a slide show format of 20 images, shown for 20 secs each – it’s non-stop and you’ve got 400 seconds to tell your story, with visuals guiding the way.
Rolling on the hour in the upstairs lounge at Shedshaker, you will be treated to six visually engaging sessions with facilitators Hayley West, Madeleine McClelland and Ella Hughes. In this informal, relaxed atmosphere people can explore creative connections, pilot new ideas and find inspiration.
Sessions:
The Art of Attention 11am – 12pm
The Art of Abstraction 12– 1pm
The Art of Print 1 – 2pm
