Award-winning cabaret powerhouses Amelia Ryan and Libby O’Donovan conceived a show that takes the spirit of Merle Thornton and Rosalie – who chained themselves to the bar rail of Brisbane’s Regatta Hotel in 1965 to protest the exclusion of women – and embodies it in the songs of Wendy Saddington, Lynne Randell, Little Patti, Judy Stone, Marcie Jones, Margret Roadknight and Alison McCallum; all trailblazing performers of that tumultuous decade.
