During the bushfire crisis of 2019-2020, Michael Rowland presented the ABC flagship program 7.30, covering the tragic events extensively. He has gathered the stories of ABC colleagues who were on the ground into an anthology: Black Summer: Stories of Loss, Courage and Community from the 2019-2020 Bushfires.
