We encourage all our guests to stay safe and book tickets online. A simple PDF document including your ticket/s and bar code/s will be sent to your email address. You can print this at home or just show our staff at each venue on your phone when you arrive. You can also choose to receive your ticket/s and bar code/s via SMS to your mobile phone.

Bookings via phone and in person at the Castlemaine Festival Office are also available and will be either emailed to you or sent as an SMS. Please note that all our venues will be operating QR code registration for contract tracing purposes.

At the Door:

Venue Box Offices will be open 1 hour before each performance at outdoor venues and 30 minutes prior at indoor venues, however we encourage our guests to book tickets in advance.

Live Streams

To help you access the festival we have made a selection of events available to live stream from the comfort of your home. All shows are $10 per stream, with the exception of opening night, which will be free to view. After you purchase your live stream ticket, a private link will be sent to you closer to the date.

TICKET INFORMATION

Concession

Includes children, people 18 and under, Pensioners, Health Care Card holders and Full-Time Students. Relevant identification must be presented upon request.

Seating

Numbered reserved seating applies to all performances at the Castlemaine Botanic Gardens and Western Reserve. All other venues are sold as general admission and seated on a first in / first seated basis.

Refunds

There are no refunds on ticket purchases with the exception of reason related to changes in COVID-19 restrictions.

Latecomers

Will not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.

Gift Vouchers

Available for purchase and may be used for any Castlemaine State Festival event with ticket availability. Unredeemed vouchers will expire on Sunday 4 April and cannot be refunded.

Fees and Charges

A delivery fee of 95c fee will apply for tickets sent via SMS.

Babes in Arms

For most events, children under 24 months old may attend free of charge on the condition they do not occupy a seat and they sit on the lap of a parent or guardian.
