Creative Spaces Hire
Goods Shed Arts is an imaginative centre for creative activity where CSF develops Festival works in multiple art forms, as well as providing the opportunity to partner with artists and arts organisations to offer cultural programs and events throughout the year.
Goods Shed Arts has air-conditioned and furnished facilities that include a creative space, gathering rooms, offices and break out spaces. In addition to our own professional learning programs and creative residencies partnerships, there is the capacity to accommodate other long-term tenancies, casual desk space and venue hire, all with access to reliable high speed 100Mbps NBN Wifi.
Spaces
There are several spaces and rooms available for hire within Goods Shed Arts.
All spaces and rooms will have access to 100Mbps internet, kitchen and bathroom facilities. General space lighting, 3-phase power, water and basic cleaning.
Creative Space
An 11m x 18m space with concrete floor. Use of this space includes access to the Residency / Studio room if required. Chairs, tables a projector and PA system are available on request. This space is not air-conditioned. Ideal for development, rehearsals and presentation of creative works and large-scale events.
Community rate $150 per day or $550 per week
Commercial rate $250 per day or $800 per week
Residency / Studio Room
A 4.5m x 5m room with marmoleum flooring and the ability to be blacked out. Furniture consists of a working table, chairs, lounge, dressing room mirrors and lockable storage space. Ideal for use as an office, dressing room, green room when using the adjacent Creative Space and can be used for smaller creative developments and workshops.
Community rate $80 per day or $300 per week
Commercial rate $150 per day or $500 per week
Meeting / Workshop Room
A 4.5m x 5.5m room with marmoleum flooring and ability to be blacked out. Furniture consists of a meeting table and 12 chairs set in meeting style as well as in-built projection screen. Projector will be available upon request. Ideal for meetings and workshops.
Community rate $20 per hour or $100 per day
Commercial rate $35 per hour or $175 per day
Event Space
A 4.5m x 10.5m room comprising of the Residency / Studio room combined with the Meeting / Workshop Room. Additional chairs available if required and will nicely accommodate theatre style seating. Ideal for larger meetings and workshops as well as medium size functions or presentations.
Community rate $130 per day
Commercial rate $200 per day
Entire Venue
The entire venue, comprising of the Creative Space and combined Event Space is available on request. Please enquire.
Equipment
Chairs – up to 50 supplied with venue hire
Trestle tables – up to 4 supplied with venue hire
Projector – $50 per day
PA system – $100 per day
We may have access to other equipment as required. Please ask.

For audio, lighting, AV and staging hire, we are able to provide you with a list of our preferred suppliers.
If you require staffing or services such as technical support, front of house or ticketing assistance we are happy to discuss ways in which we may be able to assist you or make recommendations.
Hire Bond
Hire bond is equivalent of 25% of your total booking fee and is payable on booking.
The hire bond will be returned to you within a week after your hire date.
