Castlemaine State Festival presents

Cathy-Di Zhang

Australian soprano Cathy-Di Zhang has graced stages in many guises, among them seamstress, water nymph, gypsy and servant, and in 2019 alone she sang in Italy, Belgium, China, France and Holland. At the Castlemaine State Festival she will deviate from the diva script and design her own concert, interspersing some of the most popular arias from Mozart, Lehár, Puccini and more, with Chinese art songs of the past 100 years. For this special concert, a pianist will accompany her from the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM).
