The Bridge Hotel presents
The Maes
You could say that folk music was the Rigby sisters’ birthright. Their parents are professional musicians, they were frequenting side-of-stage at folk festivals before they can even remember, and they’d be encouraged to sing folk songs to stop them arguing in the car.
Both sisters sing, with Maggie taking on banjo and guitar, and Elsie on fiddle and violin. Now three albums old, they’ll be drawing from their extensive repertoire of intimate and conversational songs.
