Soul of Possum

An historical live reading

MURRAY RIVER, 1853. As the wildlife flees through the bush from an unseen threat, three Wamba Wamba men must survive a cat-and-mouse chase across country to warn their people of the oncoming colonialists. Led by a loose-cannon captain, the settlers have their own internal power struggles to contend with. This tense historical live reading unpacks institutional hierarchy and social Darwinism, and is the debut by local Yapeen actor and playwright, and Wamba Wamba man, Brodie Murray.
