Castlemaine State Festival in partnership with the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) presents

ANAM Brass

The acoustics of St Mary’s Catholic Church will make this performance from brass musicians from the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) very special as they perform “Calls and Dances”. The concert will feature a varied selection of chamber music for brass quintet filled with playful dance-like melodies and call and response motifs from composers such as Bernstein, Corelli and more. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear musicians on the brink of their professional music careers – ANAM alumni now work in world-renowned orchestras and chamber ensembles, and win major national and international awards.
